Vocals

We’d just gotten back from dinner at Food for Thought in Bugis and were resting a little in K’s room. The weather was warm and oh-so-very humid. We were lethargic and zapped out of energy. I was trying to cool off by standing next to the window. K decided to be one with his bed.

And then I had an inspiration.

To sing. To the tune of Lauryn Hill’s “You’re Just Too Good To Be True”. Albeit with a slight twist to it...

Me: I’m just too good to be true, can’t take your eyes off me.
K: *lifts his head and gives a grimace*
Me: I’d be like heaven to touch, you wanna hold me so much.
K: *slaps hand to forehead*
Me: At long last love has arrived, and you thank god you’re alive.
K: Ah-dooi....
Me: I’m just too good to be true, can’t take your eyes off me.
Me: *does a little dance*
K: Baby.............-_-

On the Way to Dinner

Crossing the road on the way to dinner,

Me: I'm sweating like a pig.
Mich: You are a piggy lamb.
Me: Why a piggy lamb and not a sheepish pig?
Mich: Because you are a lamb.

Later,

Me: I can't decide if I'm a piggy lamb or a sheepish pig.
Mich: Why?
Me: Because either way I am fat.

And It's All About Food

After a botch-up in last night's dinner appointment with Dan, who made me wait for an hour at Plaza Sing, I decided to skip it altogether and just head elsewhere for dinner with K.

Being the sweetie pie that he is, K zoomed down from Kembangan and brought me to dinner at Seah Imm Food Centre. The long wait for dinner must have hungered me so much so that after munching on a bowl of fish noodles and some chye tow kueh, I was still a little hungry.

K was in a brown T-shirt. On our way home in the car, I started imagining things and made sure my teeth were well-acquainted with his left shoulder. ;p

Me: Brown. Hmm. Chicken Wings!! *chomped on his left shoulder*
K: Huh???
Me: Brownie!! *chomp*
K: EHHH??
Me: Beef Steak in Mushroom Sauce!! *chomp*
K: Baby……
Me: Who asked you wear brown?? So many nice foods are brown in colour!!
Me: Satay!! *chomp*
K: Don’t drool all over my shoulder…..-_-
Me: *chomp chomp*
K: I know I know! Sausages!!!
Me: Sausages are brown?
K: …………
Me: Hmm mm…ok, well, maybe they are. SAUSAGES!! *chomp*
K: ……ah dooi……*exasperated sigh*
Me: Muahahhahaha!

Les Jupes

The following exchange happened twice in the last few days. ;p

K: I like skirts!
Me: Ok, then go and buy then wear lor.
K: ............*rolls eyes*
K: I like YOU in skirts.
Me: Hehehhehhehe... :)
