Building Cities

It is a little late but K recently started getting hooked on those Iphone games which allow you to build cities, grow populations and produce goods to collect coins and level up.

He downloaded this game called "Megapolis" recently. Last night, I was all ready to sleep and then....

K: Baby, you sleep first ok. I'll sleep a little while later.
Me: Ok, why leh?
K: I'm waiting for my production to complete. Just awhile more to go only.
Me: Huh???
K: Heh, my Megapolis production centre will finish production of some goods soon!
Me: AH??? *Sigh*...........
K: *Sheepish grin* hehehehehe......

Team Roast Chicken

In the wise words of K:

"We are a team. We will work as a team and take care of Little Baby. Little Baby will learn from us. Remember the Roast Chicken we did together as a team? We must tell Little Baby that story next time."

Me:

"Ok, when Little Baby is older, he or she can help us make roast chicken too. Can help to chop the herbs."

Thank You Baby

Baby, thank you for being with me. I know I have been working late and haven't been able to accompany you at home. Thank you for understanding and for being there for me all this while. I promise to spend with you whatever time I have in between to make you happy.

Happy Anniversary Baby!
It's been 4 years since we first held hands. :)
Roughly 1.5 years since we got married.
And roughly 9 months since we had our Chinese banquet.
It's been a wonderful journey and thank you for being there for me.

The Morning After

That’s the thing about parties and weddings. The morning after. When everything’s over. The quiet calm that takes the place of the previous night’s excitement and activity.

It takes some getting used to.

Much like how life is I guess. There are pockets of great excitement and emotion followed by the more regular monotone. That’s not a bad thing really. Gives time for reflection.

And so I sit here, in a one bedroom suite at Four Seasons Hotel, reflecting on my wedding dinner party the night before.

I hope I thanked everyone.

That’s the other thing about parties. They go by so quickly. There is hardly any time to realize what is going on before they pass.

I hope my Baby is happy. Always.

This wedding was a mixed bag of everything. Emotions, actions. Through it all, Baby was the one constant. And in my life too. Like the regular calm in between parties.

I love my Baby.
